I used to play this game for like 6 hours a day.  I freakin' loved it.  I never did any of the main storyline.  I just tried to get all the missions.  My best moment was when I found the method of stealing people's monies from their bank accounts.  I would just go into some random bank and steal everyone's money, and then go into another bank.

Finally, I came across a bank with some guy who had the motherload, a whopping 7 million credits.  I then bought the latest version of everything after I got one of the top computers.

I shut down the Uplink Test Machine. :o

Went into the console and typed (In order):

help
cd sys
dir
delete
shutdown

It shutdown, attempted to boot back up, and failed. Now when I attempt to connect to it it says "ERROR: 404" and fails to connect. Doing this to any system that pisses me off. :D

Speaking of getting caught, Arunmor (I assume) found me hacking in to their LAN, so I had to blow up my nice computer.
Fortunately, I saved all my software on some company's unused file server :) I just hope they don't find it...


Edit: I forgot to mention, I hacked into the criminal database and cleared all the listed Uplink agent's criminal records like a game-week before Arunmor or whoever found my computer. I swear, this game has reverse-karma or something.

Oh well. I shut down like 7 systems with their consoles. :D
Plus, with the story stuff, I installed that revelation thing on a few systems and ran it.
Never did the story. Just used it as a weapon. Afterwards I hacked a bank and wrote down all the account numbers and passwords. Made like 50k off it, and they never even noticed me cause I used a monitor bypass and proxy bypass. Epic stuff. :D
