PVK II

PVK II stands for Pirates, Vikings and Knights 2

It's a source mod, which can be downloaded off steam, like all mods, it needs HL2 or some sort of that.

The game  is basically pirates, vikings and knights thrown in a game, with several gamemodes.
It's some pretty fun stuff, you should try it.

I used to play this, it has been posted a few times on here but it is a good reminder. It sucks ass now, basically you and the other person parry at eachother, you either have to keep parrying, attack and guarantee your ass gets pwned, or be a ranged class and be OP vs noobs but get pwned by pros. The parry system really kills it.

You are one of the people patient enough to just sit there and parry until the other person attacks, I like to just duke it out not crouch in a corner with my sword up waiting 2 minutes.

What you do is run up to them jump and do a down ward parry then strick with a stab before they parry then run back a forth parrying and doing the fully charged stab.

I love this game, but bt_island is overplayed (I prefer that over bt map, what's it called, forgotten?)

I don'y understand how I can cleave a guy in the shoulder with a fully-charged sword and get killed by his cutlass.

I asked ingame and a guy said upgrades.

HK vs. skirmisher shouldn't be hard with practice (takes you like 2 hits, the skirm has to do more)
HK vs. captain, you may want to use your shield and sword.

Also apparently the shields don't protect if you're charging the bash, keep that in mind.
