Author Topic: Buying a new PSU... But apparently I currently have a MicroATX?  (Read 915 times)

Well, I was going to buy a new PSU and a graphics card to go with it, so my computer would run some more recent games. But apparently it says my model of computer is using a MicroATX, not an ATX. So will my case fit the ATX PSU I want to buy, or what? I found a 550 watt PSU, but it goes way over my budget ($200). What the hell can I do about it? Will the 600 watt PSU fit in my case, or will I have to buy a new case?

what about the "house being taken away"

I got $300 for Christmas from my grandpa.
He's like, rich or something. It'll be a week or two until my mom can get my money back, because she spent it on groceries and stuff.

You can save money. And he said that he has 200 dollars now.

I never had a chance to spend any more of it because my mom was using to for stuff

Can anyone help me with this?

Get out your measuring tape and find out.

if your case is micro You're probably going to need a micropsu microATX psu, But if just the motherboard is it should be fine, just fine.

ATX is the type of power connector.

Hurp.

That PSU will fit into your computer.
