I am more than willing to help complete strangers to a certain extent. Though it is more difficult to do from behind a computer. As you said, people adopt the certain "I dont care" persona and become naturally thick headed, unwilling to take help when given. I will try to help newcomers as best I can, but if they lock themselves to their own false beliefs and attack me for helping I retaliate.
Real life I am so much more prone to helping others. Mostly due to the fact that I can actually physically help them, aside from just explaining things. Like if I'm driving along and the car in front of me with a driver I've never met before gets in an accident, I will gladly avert from what I'm doing, stop my car and get out and help the person. There has been countless times this winter where I've seen cars stuck and I've stopped to help.
Like I said, people over the internet will reject help, stick to there beliefs, and retaliate against all who think differnet.
Indeed. I find it upsetting, though, that some people are so preoccupied with their own selves, that they'd just drive right on by...Or worse, help the person in a manner only to make themselves look good. Underlying cause is a major factor when it comes to helping another. I think the original conversation got a bit off-course, as "helping" wasn't exactly the term that I was originally going for. Its more so having consideration or caring for another. Helping is just the largest way to show such.
Argument tl;dr all of it.
But, every little bit helps, and they WILL appreciate it.
If you were in need, and people said, "I don't know him, I won't help" then too bad.
You should really read the conversation a bit better, lol.
sorry, i was busy having love with my girlfriend. i'm back here to argue though!
Your mother must be so proud? :o
