Why wouldn't it be 20$ a month?


It wouldn't be abnormal in anyway really, i know Darkfall had a 20$ monthly fee.

Darkfall was made by a startup company that needed the money. APB is by Realtime Worlds, creators of Crackdown, Crackdown 2, and the GTA series (Starting it, that is). Not to mention Darkfall has the stufftiest marketing team ever, and Realtime worlds is a professional studio.

I really wish it wouldn't be subscription because that means at various points I will have to stop playing for months at a time and I'll probably lose interest.

$20 for this game would be far under-priced, I'd pay well over $50 if it doesn't have a monthly fee.

I'd be willing to pay close to $100 to get an MMO that you didn't have to pay a monthly fee. It would defiantly pay off in the long run.

Also, still no beta key. Did they say how long does it usually takes to process an app?

Yes. The application is for selection, to determine audience and whatnot.
