I'll think about it first, rather jumping into conclusion because DS is "original"

Capacity: DSi, tons of memory and such; DS not so much

Games: DSi, Large App-Like system; DS able to play gameboy AND DS(i) games

Durability: Well, I've dropped my DS on concrete several times on accident and it still works pretty well; DSi would probably break the first 2 times you drop it

Cost: DSi cost a crapload of money; DS is cheaper

Conclusion: DS: 3 DSi: 2

I had a Gameboy with like 25 games but then the gams stopped coming out so I bought a DS so I think that's it's great that it can play Gameboy games. On the other hand the DSi has downloads and can do other stuff but it breaks easily. Overall I like the DS more.

yeah.........my hack still works and my DSi is 100% up to date
so as of yet......no anti firmware for the hack

EDIT: the DSi hack disguises itself as the "Mr.Game And Watch Collection"
so by having coding to present it as a game it can bypass

That's how my original DS broke. :/

I've dropped my DS lite a lot and it hasn't broken.  There's a chip in it, though, so now the top screen can swing out if I want it to.

I had one of those as well. It broke in 06 though.
