i think xbox 360 is better cause with the PC your computer may not work for l4d2 on xbox 360 graphics always do

That's called getting better graphics card, which is considerably cheaper than buying an xbox.

a graphic card alone can't make a game run.

You can't just get a good graphics card and expect your computer to be amazing. A really badass gaming computer, custom built is around $1400, and would probably run any game at a smooth FPS.

PC runs Blockland.
'Nuff said.

This is kinda table vs chair.

Basically, how i see it you can either have decent graphix for all of your games

Or you could spend a tiny bit more on a PC to run All the games at Maximum Settings.

Like I said, a "tiny bit" more is almost $1200 more. It's more of a long-term investment though.

Maybe for you but not for me. Nothing is playable for me near 20 FPS.
It depends on how patient you are.
I can play games all the way down to 5 FPS, except action games like Grand Chase where I actually have to have no lag to play or else you mess up a lot. Good thing it's a low graphic game.

I noticed how nobody has mentioned some very important differences between the Cry engine 3 gameplay on Xbox vs Cry engine 2 on pc. One of the biggest things I noticed was that the draw distance for objects on the xbox version is pathetically small, you can see objects start to appear/ come into rendering range as you walk close to them (you can see this as the guy walks along the dock), something that Cry engine 2 on pc DOES NOT do. On pc objects are rendered even at far distances which gives it a much more realistic feel because they don't suddenly appear. Also, if you look at the demo of cry engine 3 running on xbox you can also see the lack of a dense jungle at long distances, which again the pc does not do. Another big difference is that the actual resolution that the game is rendered at on consoles will most likely be sub 1080p, as with almost all new xbox AND ps3 games. One example is the 360 and ps3 versions of Modern warfare 2, which both run at 1024x600, which in my opinion is a pathetically low resolution, although many people cannot tell the difference. This is because both the 360 and ps3 have very limited amounts of ram which means in order to get more stuff on screen that looks better, the best choice is to lower the resolution that the game is rendered at. Both consoles will then bump the output resolution up to 1080p before the signal gets sent to the tv, but in reality the game is still running at a sub HD resolution. There are a few other small differences such as the shadows of physics objects not running at the same speed of the actual moving object itself, but these are small and most people wont notice them anyways. Gah giant wall of text...

the god damn essay

agreed, all console games have a sad draw distance. i noticed this on gta4, and assassins creed2. it nearly ruined the games for me.
you cant have epic, if you cant see more then 100 feet away.

Erm...I can't really decide because these aren't even in the same league..it's like comparing an apple to a table..

BUT although consoles are dumbed down they play at WAY better fps then a computer unless you feel like spending 3x a console price for one that tops it.

I spent $666 (Yeah weird I know...) building a computer, that gets just as good framerates, usually better, as xbox 360. I usually run games on max / high 1920 x 1080, which looks so much better then xbox. Thats only twice as much.

On the term of computers, I recently got a new graphics card, and games run a lot smoother, but I notice some sound lag. If there is any visual lag, it's barely any, but sounds often skip. Is this because:
A) I have a lower power supply than recommended
B)The settings of the card are too much for the rest of my computer
C)Something else
