They take money from your paycheck even if you don't want it.
Give it a guess on what right they are violating.
call me weird stupid or whatever but I like how this country was founded and I want to keep it that way
also they didn't Liston to the will of the people with this bill now we'll be like the UK or candida do you know how many people have died using that health care system we had the best in the world untill now and he said he will make more jobs and bring 'hope and change' well I didn't know taxes were good or health care remind me why we read history? to learn from out mistakes and as you can tell everytime we have upped taxes our country as done worse
Our country also wasn't founded on being the opposite of Britain and Canada; we were mostly founded on ideals such as political, judicial, and economic freedom. Now while people may have died under Canada's health care, people don't live forever. What I think is worse than people not living forever is the 45,000 US citizens who died last year due to a lack of proper health care. And frankly, I'd rather die knowing someone at least tried to save me than knowing that insurance companies let me, along with 44,999 of my American brothers and sisters, die without batting an eye. I honestly don't mind dropping insurance premiums, considering they increased by 90% between 2000 and 2007, and the profits of the nations 10 largest insurers grew to 528% in the same period. In that period, Republicans "namely President Bush", the national deficit grew by 1.9 trillion dollars from tax cuts alone. Back when former Bush (who grew unpopular due to his decisions) and , later, Clinton raised taxes, our nation actually had a surplus, which was followed by large economic growth. This was killed by reckless spending following Clinton during the second Bush's reign. I welcome health care reform as a very great idea, both morally
and financially, as 47 million without health care and the 86.7 million underinsured will finally have a chance to get decent treatment. This doesn't factor in the many children which were dropped for preexisting conditions who now are protected due to the recent bill that can no longer be dropped for these conditions. As if just to support the positive consequences of the bill, the Congressional Budget Office projected that the deficit will decrease by $143 billion due to the bill in its first decade of enactment, and $1.2 trillion in its second decade. By 2014, 95% of America will finally have decent health coverage. Overall, health care reform seems very welcome in a time where jobs are drying up, economies are slowing down, and Americans everywhere are lacking health insurance.
