Load it with water from a bucket ( a lot for bone glue), get 5 blocks of wood, left click them then right click the cauldron to put them in, right click the cauldron and click "light". When it boils (sprite will change) right click it then go into crafting menu, find bone glue, click craft and your person will start making it.

Add wood to the couldron by clicking the wood and right clicking the couldron. Fill it with water, same as wood.
Right click couldron empty handed, light it.
Wait for it to boil, you'll know it when it is.
With that menu still up, go to the craft menu and start crafting bone glue.
