and im pretty sure nearly everyone has a bear cape or some form of strength increase, like boar tusk snuff and stuff.

I think I do, because there was a runestone telling me to 'go this way to [village name here]'

Although I might not have gone far enough along the river. There's also one of those milestone paths going south so I'm going to check that out.
