well stuff I can't fill food troughsthey eat the grassland if they're on it, i've learned.
To fill a food trough you need to take a carrot or some other kind of foodstuff and right click a food trough, the sprite will change and you keep adding food to fill it up. Animals, if no grassland is available will eat out of the trough, and vice-versa. If no trough or grassland is available they will die.
