stats are too expensive imo
they ought to cost less lp, just because you have to have so many in each category to be successful

but I guess I could wait a month or two to gel all the lp I need for skills and stats.

if you want to be succesful
get lots of fighting skills, lots of survival skills, lots of cooking skills, lots of sewing skills.
