I usually look for clay by going along the river shallow water, then once I've got a hotspot I leave an unfinished sign or pave a quick spot.

Double post because I need help with the combat system. I'm trying to kill a fox and I have a Q 8 sling and 11 marksmanship. I've been standing here for thirty minutes and fired off an inventory and a half or rocks and need help. I've hit him so many times and he just won't die, I wait for the meter to get up to the green and fire but he's just not dying.
