i couldn't imagine being alone in a village. like there isn't even a point in founding a village then.
there are 2 incorrect types of villages i always see.
Bad 1) everyone does everything. everyone farms the same farms, everyone harvests the wild sheep. and everyone cooks them. everyone mines and everyone smiths.
This is the village of stuffty quality items and no one is highly skilled in any craft. as they all have to be low or med skilled evenly just to get by.
bad 2) everyone lives within the village claim, but they all each have thier own player claims ON TOP of it... they all have thier own walls around their houses even within the village walls. they all have their own private farm patches, and pretty much the same for all tools and skill things.
This is the village of stuffty quality items. and pissed off villagers, as they are basically playing alone anyways.
good) everyone shares in the same chores of hauling wood, and killing herds of spawns, building walls and buildings. but;
only the one person higher skilled in survival will forage the animal.
only the one person higher skilled in industry and smithing will even step into the mines or touch the smelts.
only the one person higher skilled in cooking will make all the food for the village.
only the one person higher skilled in carpentry will make this or that tool or furniture.
only the one person higher skilled in farming will even touch the crops.
and as you increase the production and size of all these things, you need more villagers to double up those certain skills.
THIS is the village of high quality items. THIS is the village where people are happy and work even harder. because everyone gets everything they need, and no one is burnt out from working to hard.
and if you all keep inviting any random kid into the village, that only plays the game for 4 hours on Saturday if his mom isn't home. then your village will fail.
