they dont just disappear at map refreshes, they disappear if no player is in view of them for like 20 min.
its pointless to try and pen them up.

This stuff sucks, my 14MM can't even take down a single auchro or w/e that means cow. I'm going to have to disengage them all and find chickens for food x.x

Try harder.
It takes time and patience.
If it's slow, raise your MM

What's your sling quality?

I PUNCHED A CHICKEN BECAUSE I CAN.

Did you one shot it?

We have a lot of These where we live.

Does anybody have any tips for taming?
Well, if you use the rope on it, will it attack you?

Before you get livestock, put up a palisade. (If you don't have one.)

I read that article. It didn't help me much. None of the wiki does really. :(

The wiki helped a lot. There is a slight chance the animal will attack you, but if you meet the requirements, as listed, you will be successful and tame it.

Okay, well, I will use clovers for now because my...SHP I think it's called is at 29. That's not very good.

SHP = Soft HP = How healthy you are (Red section of the health bar)

HHP = Hard HP = How healthy you can be (Orange section of the health bar)

Yeah well, my max HP is 104, and that is win, obviously, and that middle digit(HHP)? is pretty low.

Yeah, that's bad. If you don't have any gauze, find some leeches and put them on. Apparently they drain SHP but recover HHP. I've never used them, so I don't know how effective it is.

My HP Max is 109. :D
You're close to death then. Where we live, I never got hit. Once.
With that low health, you won't be able to survive a tame. You can probably look for someone with anything that will heal you.

Also,
SHP = Soft HP = How healthy you are (Red section of the health bar)

HHP = Hard HP = How healthy you can be (Orange section of the health bar)

MHP = Max HP = How much health you can store. (Third number.)
