Haven't you ever wanted custom hats?

Not just in a game with the mod for those hats, I mean hats like the officer type hat, that you can wear always...something that modelers can make for characters, just like decals and faces are made for you.

I know what you mean, Ive looked for the .DTS folder for the player models but couldn't find them, there is a "Hat Mod" but I hate that trash.

The hats and accessories are part of the minifig model itself.  Everything gets hidden besides the one you choose in the player menu.

Ok, ill see if can help explain it.

Every part of the minifig is a "Node"

Nodes are like Lhand, Rfoot, Skis, etc.
When you select the Node on the avatar options menu, you "Un-Hide" the node.

For example, Download the bot mod and spawn a standard bot.

Then, on the veichle spawn, put this into the events;

OnBotSpawn>Bot>EditAppearance>UnHideNode>ALL>(Make the color box white)

Then respawn the bot. you can see that it unhides all the nodes on the bot.
In order to make more hats,, you would need to edit the whole minifig.
