Author Topic: I just got Fallout 3, got any tips/cheats/secrets/glitches/help for me?  (Read 2866 times)

Make your character evil and when you reach level 20 get the explorer perk and find evrything! Make him an unstopable killing machine like my level 30.

Ok, I just got out of the building you get the dish in(for three dog) and I'm pretty low on health, all my super mutant killable weapons are out of ammo, I'm almost out of ammo on my last gun, and I am stuck with a few super mutants in my way. Any suggestions on what to do?

find a bed in the trenches

find a bed in the trenches
this there's a cave somewhere in there that is all clear and has a bed, or you could run like hell and use stimpacks if you have any.

Well, I got all the way to rivet city, with guns, stimpacks, and luck. Is there anything you can tell me before I set out for the memorial place? I got a minigun from some super mutant along the way to rivet city. :D

before you go all rambo with the minigun
raise your heavy weapons skill

I think I'm going to play this right now while I'm waiting for some oblivion mods to download.

Oblivion mods f-ed my game up.

I can't stand the unfair leveling system of Oblivion, where melee is too easy to play as, and range is impossible.  ...ever tried to be a ranger?  No?

However, the stealth in Oblivion is better than Fallout, where it is non-existent. *le sigh*

If you make a character that focuses on stealth it's readily available, especially if you purchase plenty of stealth boys.

No, you forgeted your game up by not installing/uninstalling mods correctly.

I've added and removed hundreds of mods in Oblivion and I have never had even ONE corrupted file.

Sadly I did!  That's what  made originally!  It requires going back to old places thousands of times everytime you increase lock-picking skills!

Sad thing is: Stealth boys cost alot, time consuming, you upgrade lock-picking - not guns so your weak as stuff... need I say more.  Oblivion allows you to bust down a door and kill someone then sell everything they own to some fruity guy in a bar.

Edit: in response to dkamm65:  No, they installed correctly and worked.  They just have little point.  Do I really need to change a working game?  There are no useful mods for... say... making the leveling system work.  None of THOSE mods have beneficial effects.

Based on that statement, I'm guessing you're only seen a VERY small sampling of all the mods out there.

Look up Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul.

Seen and saddened by.
