They've not been working for the past month because they've been moving into their new office.
Right know, valve are only working on The passing, l4d1/2 DLC. No more l4d's will be made.
They are also working on portal 2.
This is all that's going on right now.
Valve is in 3 teams.

They are not working on episode 3 until portal 2 is released.
