New pokemon look like crap. I've played every single series of it, from blue to Diamond, not counting the remakes, and the new ones definitely look awful. The last good-looking series was Sapphire and Ruby.

the shinx path, turtwig path, combee line and all the evolutions from older pokemon work out pretty well



everything else is like someone looked at a four-year-old's sketches of 'animals' and tried to make something out of stick figures

theoretically the idea would work but you need at least six-year-olds for it to be universally acceptable

I think the new pokemon are too new age techno pop retro. They are all shiny and bright colored. Like a Japanese pop show gone mad.

I liked Empoleon the most. Not the looks, but the fact that it was part Steel. Gliscor is particularly bad in my opinion, as is Lucario. Munchlax and Bonsly aren't bad, though.
