Superpowers aside, since this is a dumb ability, but it would be cool to be able to hear English from a non-native speaker's mind.

Exactly as it would sound if you heard another language for the first time. Although English as we know it is a clusterforget of many other languages, so I'm sure there are enough cognates for anyone to understand something.

Well, put it this way.  If you don't know russian, and can't assign any images/concepts to words, it sounds pretty weird.  To a native russian speaker, it probably sounds 100% normal.  Russian and spanish do not sound alike when heard by a non-native speaker.  So how weird would english sound?

I think he means its like a translater in his head so if I say somthing like J' aime joue au basket. He would hear it I like playing basketball. So the secound he hears it instead of him hearing it in the foriegn language he hears it in his primary language. Also the words I translated was french, I'm currently in french II right now so I probably butchered the phrase but you get my point.

I think the ability to not have to sleep would be neat.  You would never feel tired, and you would have at least another 8 hours of free time.  However, if you wanted to sleep (to pass time or something), you could.

I think it would be fun to be nocturnal. When I move out I might rent an apartment with very little natural light and try that for a year, just sleep during the day and roam around during the night.
