No hitscan... Bullet drop is the thing that makes these snipers better than the others. Even if you make the scopes move around, hitscan ruins everything. Without hitscan. Without moving scopes. Leaving everything as it is makes the snipers harder to use. Trying to predict movement, compensating for bullet drop. I can do this just fine and kill people. And I know I'm not the best player out there. So other people can do it just fine.

In my opinion these rifles are perfect. The M21 is more of a combat-sniper rifle. Perfect when you have to take out several enemies at mid/long distances. The M700 is more for tactical snipers. Sneaking around the enemy and attack when they never expect it. And of course the Truvelo is for very long distances or vehicles.
Here a little story (I just felt like writing it :P):
One time I was hosting a fort war with these weapons in Dustlands Dark. After setting up a small base I instantly left my team to observe the emenies base. I sat down behind a little bush near their base and started to watch them trough my binoculars. My team always asked where I am :P Then the enemy attacked. Instantly I laid down to get a better sight on possible targets. But due to the distance and fog I was not able to do anything. After my team fought off the attack, they started a counter attack. Some missiles were fired, some of them missed. Everyone opened fire, and I spotted two enemies taking shelter behind their base. I pulled out my M700, aimed, patiently waiting for the right moment. Both stood still, I aimed a bit up due to the distance, and as soon as both stood still I fired. The bullet hit the right ones head, of course killing him. His teammate looked around, completely unaware as the second bullet hit his face...
Sure one of the more awesome moments in a battle.
After some time I got into a little fight, killed because I had the wrong "close-combat" weapon (SA80) with me :P

Another thing: Bullet drop should be less severe in snipers. Still there, but less severe. I find it annoying to snipe people by shooting at a cloud and watching where it falls. I want to at least be able to see the top of their head.

And of course you are able to see them, silly :P

Back when that happened I saw my enemies kinda clear. Just tested it, when I barely can see that sign in Dustlands Dark (due to the fog), the M700 bullet hits the sign at the first distance-line. So you don't have to aim very high :P

Yeees, you do. And yeees, all weapons will have reload animations :3

Emm, there is a ugly glitch with the models that makes them invisible if worn on back. If I can fix it, yes.

sorry if this post annoys you but you could get all of the glitches of the finished weapons much faster if you released a beta version for everyone to testmost noobs that would claim they made it don't look for add-ons in modification discussion and I am aware that it will take a while to get a link up please don't be mean

I was saying more of, "I'll host a server on <date>" and not "Oh, hey. I'm hosting right now!" It would be great if you could just say when you're gonna host.

How's the progress? Whatcha gotta do?

Actually, I don't care much about names :P And yes, I wanted to IRC you, but I forgot to check here again. Normally my hosting times are very random. Often spontaneous, but usually around the same time: from 6 pm to 10 pm central european time. On weekends often until 3 am.

And actually my server started to behave strange again. Now my server decides again if people can join and which people, and it doesn't seem he likes much people :/

Tomorrow, no wait... 3:30 am is today, I will fix the bugs that occured with the new ammo system. Then I'll add the ammo pick-up stuff.
