MY LEGO GAME NEEDS THE UTMOST IN TACTICAL REALISM

He already said, it's mainly for testing entry.

I am very pleased that you actually made laser sights, I thought I'd be shouted down for whatever reasons. What weapons have them?
Uuh, I guess all, except the shotguns, the rocketlaunchers, the grenadelaunchers, and the Truvelo, since it's useless on these weapons.

If I may add my 2 cents, I think it would be neat if laser sights were on most of the weapons and toggleable with the light key. Some weapons, such as shotguns, wouldn't need them.
Light key is already there for reloading. At the moment you have to type "/lasersight" to turn them on/off.

Hmm. You could make it keybindable, no?

Aaaaand another keybind?? Nah... I could, but another keybind...

Then the K key?
?

Aaaaand another keybind?? Nah... I could, but another keybind...
Well, it could create "/lasersight-kills".
Guy #1 kills Guy #2 while they type /lasersight.
That would kinda break gameplay in my opinion, but I'm sure you'll find something.
Also, if not a new keybind, why not the right mouse button?

Well, that's his/her problem. If he/she is that stupid to type it in the middle of a combat...
And right mouse button is already for the sights.

What about just a shorter thing to type? Like /ls or /l* or something like that?

I think abother keybind would be just fine. I'd probably make it M3 since I don't have anything there.

Yeah, something shorter maybe... but I don't really like that keybind idea.

Attachments for assault rifles maybe?
For example, you have an assault rifle with an attachment, and one with no attachment.
The one with an attachment trades off extra ammo for a grenade launcher, or a suppressor, or something.
Or was this suggested before?

Are the models going to have added lasersight models on them all the time? Like even if they are off? Or is it just going to appear there when you activate it?

And what about when you change weapons? Like if you have the laser on by command, then you switch to something else, then switch back, will it still have the laser?

And as long as we're talking about attatchments like this, is it possible to turn the supressed versions of guns into a command or keybind? Like /s* or something, and it plays an animation where the silencer is screwed on? It would clean up the menu a tad.

Pistols, SMG's, assault rifles and sniper rifles will have suppressed versions. All suppressed weapons will do slightly less damage.

Asdf, how much models/model changes do you want me to make?? The laser sights are integrated somewhere in the weapons, I think you can find a place for a integrated laser sight on every weapon...
And of course you don't need to enable/disable it for every weapon.
A command for silencers would be okay I think... but not another animation >.<

I was just asking how you plan to make it all work. Either way would be fine to me. I probably wouldn't even use the lasersights most of the time unless they changed how the guns perform.

Speaking of performance, will an enemy be able to see my laser on the wall if I point at it?

Then just a sound, and a 1 or 2 second firing delay between taking it off and putting it on.

Of course the lasersights won't change how a weapon will perform. And yes of course everyone will be able to see it.

Why are all of you being so lazy, its not hard to type /lasersight.

IMO its only to common sense to turn it on behind cover.

Making it shorter might help, but not considerably.
