Yes. Or slightly up/down when you have head/tailwinds :P
I might switch from projectiles to raycasting. No, shut up and read, everything.BEFORE you post.Projectiles have limited speed (200 units per second). This gives the advantage of non-instant-hits on long distances, but for really big distances it is just too slow. Raycasts are instant hit, making them overpowered on high distances. Projectiles can be gravity-affected, raycasts not. Wind affection is impossible for both. What I have in mind is mixing both together. The good things about it, I can add wind and gravity affection, as well as other stuff like spin drift* (Yes I know, I take it a bit too far :D). And it won't get overpowered over long distances.*Spin drift: The rotation of spinning projectiles causes them to drift off to the side.
Wait, I am a bit confused about this, what do you mean? Like having it shoot raycasts sometimes and projectiles other? Or are you making something new?
That sounds awesome, great. I can't wait for that to work.I hope Isaac doesn't come here and start spamming the topic with how raycasting sucks and such.
woah.
i deleting my tier-tacticle is soon as i get this!
Bad idea. If you do, then when you go to a server with T+T then you will have a longer loading time.
