turn sucide off like a real war

you cant just randomly die in war
I might try that out with the disabling today...

"OMGZ! WHATS GOIN ON Y I CNT WALK?!?!!11134"

If it works fine (not just script-wise but also gameplay-wise), I'll probably love it.

[Edit]
I added a bleeding system. When you get shot in the leg(s) it might cause bleedings that take away between 10 and 40 health points. When you get shot in the chest between 20 and 100. It takes away 1 healthpoint every 1.5 seconds.

unless you shoot yourself or cut yourself or blow yourself up somehow

unless you shoot yourself or cut yourself or blow yourself up somehow

So you would rather shoot yourself instead of waiting for help?

Realism in-game often is frowned upon as blockheads aren't really the realistic type of stuff eh?
However, it would be very interesting.

But be carefull, more realism... It can be bad.

Looking into the forceRequiredAddon, it seems that it is unknown if it can work with client scripts. Since client scripts do not produce datablocks, you'll need to do a trial and error process to see if it does. However, with what I have provided you, I think it's your best hope.

But trying doesn't harm, eh?

I don't see how that is supposed to work. When I call it serversided it checks on the host computer. That would simply load the required script if existing. When I call it clientsided it checks on the client computer. But since the client does not have it it would simply give out an error.

Then make the script apart of the mod. Call it server-sided. Etc etc.

Why having recoil when you can have none? People would just not download it. And if they did, they would delete it again.

Destiny/Zack0Wack0 had a client sided script too for his RPG, you were forced to have it, else you couldnt join his server.
Ask him about it, maybe he can give you that. :D

I'm saying make it server sided.

i'm pretty sure you'd rather try to get help than end your life permanantly

I predict a quite empty server.

If it was possible serversided I would have done it a long time ago already.

With the legs, that would be still okay. But with the arms... I don't know. And I doubt that "disabling" would work as you imagine. I would have to change the playertype to a very slow and crouching one that can't use any items. Else they would just shoot back and probably kill themselves to repsawn. But even with a special playertype - why waiting for a medic when you can just kill yourself?
Remember that old landmine add-on? How it blew off your legs and made you crawl if you stepped on it? Why not something like that?

Yes, and I hated that feature because it was poorly made. It just forced the player object to play the crouch animation. It didn't slow you down or anything.

I predict a quite empty server.
Maybe.. *sniff* Maybe...
But yeah, you got to do something i assume.
