Okay people. I've been lying in bed trying to come up with a hosting plan for summer and I think I've got a good one.
Here's how it'll go. I'll be hosting 24/7 (yes, you read that correctly, I will be hosting 24/7) and every day after work I'll come into the server to clean up any unneeded stuff and then save. Depending on my evening, I may or may not be coming back to the server later.
I will need a favor from all of you, and that is to save periodically in my absence. The responsibility of saving will shift from person to person every week. There will also be a back-up saver, in the case that the primary saver cannot do such. I'll soon be choosing members for the first week of saving.
**NOTE**: Whether you all already know/remember this or not is irrelevant; I will be gone, literally off the continent, from May 27 to June 6. I'm going to France with my French class to complete the second half of our exchange program. I'll be living with a French student for 11 days. During this time I will not be hosting. The day after I return (June 7) is when I will begin hosting. However, this does not mean that the clan build will not be worked on while I'm gone. I realize that it is not convenient for everyone to host, which brings me to my next point.
I will be sending you all the .bls and corresponding .jpg for Khoz City. I will then be assigning people to work just on getting certain sections of the city started. I already have this all planned out in my head, all that's left is to assign people to begin certain sections and to be the build saver for the week. Here's how we'll put it all together. Once people have begun work on their sections and have gotten as much work done as possible until I return, I will host and everyone that began sections of the city will load their saves. All the saves will come together like puzzle pieces and then we can really start.
Sound good? I'm totally open to suggestions, so feel free to suggest stuff.
