I just lost my iPod Touch on a mountain! :D
I know that sounds ridiculous, but I'm not even joking. My friend and I went up to the foothills today for a party that his mom's work was holding. They have what's called an "alpine slide" there. When I got on the slide, I checked my pockets to make sure everything was still in them, and it all was. When I got to the bottom, I checked my pockets again, and lo and behold, my iPod's not there. They won't escort people up the side of the mountain to look for lost items, but they have maintenance workers that do routine walks up and down it. I gave them my phone number and mailing address and they said they'll call me if they find it. I'm not getting my hopes up at all that they'll find it. If anyone besides a worker found it, they've probably taken it. It's not like they can use it, I have it set to erase all data on the device after ten failed passcode attempts. Oh well, it's time for a new iPod Touch anyway, and the new one's coming out soon.
