Oh, I see why you're confused. Notice in the speedtest picture I posted, the speed is measured in "Mb," not "MB." Yes, there is a difference. "Mb" means "megabit," while "MB" means "megabyte"; megabytes (MB), kilobytes (KB), gigabytes (GB), terabytes (TB), etc. are not used in terms of Internet speeds. The terms megabit (Mb), kilobit (Kb), gigabit (Gb), etc. are used instead, and it is the only place you'll see them used.

My download speed cycles between 240 KB and 1.5 MB.

Comcast is quite annoying in some regards. Right now half the televisions in my house have 12 channels accessible. This is because of "digital format" and other et cetera. To get the channels back, we have to pay an extra $2 a month per TV.
