The spawn in that world is like two miles away from the houses, including Mage's.

And a certain SOMEONE just had me travel all the way back to the spawn to find them so they could come to Ky's home, resulting in my death, and after 3 days and finally finding him, he had to go. :C

Edit: On the bright side, I now know my way around the wilderness, though.

I made a world where i walked for two days (no joke) away from the spawn until I settled in a valley with plentiful amounts of surface coal and wood
