I'm assuming you've started to detest Goon Station since they exiled you for doing something stupid.

Chances are you also like TGStation more because you are accepted there, since I go by the general rule that at least 33% of the people on other servers are people permabanned from Gibbed servers.

Plus a lot of their ideas are just recycled from the suggestions forum.
Sure, they might have some good stuff, but it's not like putting a cherry on top of a stuff pile will make it any better.

I don't detest the server. It's the admins that ruin the game for me. I want to play the game without having a supernatural force you cannot fight off and kill you mid-round, regardless if you are traitor or not. They would always tell people I was the traitor, they would play music only through MY speakers, and not all of it was music, I should say sounds, like "2012". They would put me in mazes, trap me in rooms and delete the floors under me so I would suffocate, stuff like that.

TGstation lets me play how I want to play, without admin interference.

Have you even played TGstation? You can't knock it til you try it.

Actually, a lot of cool new content has been added to TGstation, including deployable barricades, Prison station, different types of revolvers, etc.

I'm usually head of Security, because security is a lot of fun to play on TGstation, between dodging interviews with lawyers and having traitors attacking security.

One time, it was revolutionary round. It was me, the security force, HoP, the CE, and the Captain. With access to weapons from the armory in security, we set up deployable barriers to make a blockade, with each security member had a laser weapon and behind a barrier, I locked down the shutter shades, and we were assaulted by bombs, swords, etc. and we managed to hold our own, until we lost the HoP, and a security member sacrificed his life to save us from a bomb, we were down to three people. We retreated to the prison station, and we all almost died of hunger, so we went back for food, and died.

Also, the admins are decent!

It's not as fast as goonstation, that's my only real complaint with non-goonstation stations.

It's more roleplay-ish, and during rev rounds as security it's VERY, VERY fast paced.

Decide to fly off outpost, and landed on rock.

When I first started playing, I didn't know what an admin bus was. So I would get angry at the admins for doing it.

Then, weeks later, after learning it was meant to be fun, they still picked on me.

The biggest rule of SS13, besides FOLLOW THE RULES, is just roll with it.

So a bus started tearing down the maintenance hall breaking half of the walls and all the doors in Hydroponics?
Replace them with tables and sell bananas. Get turned into a blue clown while playing as an NT Enforcer? Go around converting people to clowns with the other 2 blue clowns. Sent to the Thunderdome on Halloween? COME BACK WITH ENERGY SWORDS.

These are all situations I've been in, and adapted them to be fun in my favor. Sure fate will stuff in your cornflakes every now and then when you get chased by a Gabe Newell Singularity and eaten alive by an army of man eater plants, but that's just the game's nature.

honestly, half of the charm of ss13 is the adminbussing. it makes this game special. i remember frank castle, lallander (i think) and i turned into a crime fighting squad after beating a traitor. we ended up confiscating drugs from the ce, arresting a clown for standing around and not being funny, and commandeered a liquor cabinet and drank ourselves into a stupor.
