Thats why it has fire in the name. Extinguishing is an optional feature that you can get. BUT ONLY IF YOU CALL NANOTRASSEN WITHIN THE NEXT TRAITOR ROUND.

This thread is quite slow. Hell, the Baystation 12 topic over at Bay 12 is more active than this.

Anyway, what is/are your favorite mode(s)? Mine would be Revolution, Alien and Nuke. Meteor was pretty good for a bit, not so much the gameplay but being safely buckled down to a bed while meteors fly right over you and plow through random people was funny. Changeling is decent but it's impossible for the changeling to win unless everything holds together long enough and people just leave bodies lying around. Disaster was never good. I don't need to say much about Traitor, being the most popular mode and all. Wizard is pretty good, it's just a nightmare for the crew to catch the wizard unless he teleports into a horde of people and there's too many targets for him to magic missile/fireball.

Onto my favorites, I haven't played Alien yet but the admin forgetery spawning aliens was pretty good. Revolution is actually really fun, aside from the tendency to have these insanely long rounds because both sides are hiding somewhere and refuse to take action. Nuke was always my favorite, I love being the syndicate and kicking the stuff out of everyone in my way until I reach the Captain. It's a shame they removed the ability to buy energy swords, though.

They like to remove a lot of stuff at goonstation I noticed, and for no reason at times too.

The Energy Sword is an OP weapon and when you have 5 of them on the station at once things become stuff.

They had good reason to remove the e-sword, it was this forget-all weapon capable of stabbing straight through any armor and insta-KO'ing a person. That, combined with the 40 telecrystal cap (Which I think they lowered THAT too, I had 27 availabe at the start...) made it possible to just syndieknight everyone to death, which happened a lot.

with plasma, if you release the valve on a canisterless large container, set it to maximum pressure, and then throw a lit welder/lighter towards the tank, will it cause an explosion?

It will start a fire of course if you see plasma around it.

Of course the atmospherics system is horrible in the game and only works when you don't want it to.
