I was at Gamestop yesterday and they said if I put a 5 dollar deposit on this game I get the special edition for showing my savings card or whatever it is. Also, I was all hyped up for it coming out on May 18, then I read in Game Informer that it was originally being released on April 27th. Dammit.
give them time if you want this to be the second best game ever

I'll give them all the time they want, whatever makes it better :o

The free roam looks amazing, but I have one question: do you still have inventories for stuff such as plants, animal skins, and weapons?

how do game developers completely miss this subject of not swimming?

I'm not completely sure, but there's a thread a few pages back with a huge bulleted list of features from Gamefaqs, and one of them said you can't swim.

Most of it is desert terrain, I can't really see there being much water, except for a couple of rivers or lakes here and there. But still, it would make sense to just have a fatigue gauge, and when it runs out, you drown

In the free roam trailer there's some big rivers, but I don't think you ever even get close to them, unless you really want to.

i wonder what obvious aspects they are going to miss in SR3
