An explosive device set by the Pakistani Taliban was found within an SUV parked in the theater district of Times Square, last night. The device was improvised, quite crude, and did not explode, but it was quite powerful, nonetheless. A robot cracked open the windows of the SUV and pulled out propane tanks, fireworks, two 5-gallon filled gas tanks, a clock, electrical wires, and other unknown materials.

That's awesome and terrifying at the same time.

There is no evidence of known terrorist organization involvement.

The Taliban are suspected, a one minute video was made by the Taliban explaining that the failed attack was revenge for the death of a major Taliban leader.

lol the Taliban.

Trust me, Al Qaeda and the Taliban don't have many resources left. Al Qaeda is all but gone and the Taliban is struggling for survival in western Pakistan.

I thought it was just a car, and they only found some propane and "black powder".

I dont know if i would want to claim any responsibility for a bomb that failed to explode. lol

Actually, counter - terrorism agencies didn't do stuff here. The bomb simply failed.
