Were these ever made? Cause it might be interesting to have some sort of item that could work like the skis yet would it be possible to make it not slide sideways?

I was going to suggest Roller blades.

Anyways, this is a good idea, I was thinking kind of a different model. Not too different of a script from the ski's. This is a neat idea.

Technically just take the ski scripts and change the model, but rise the player a bit.

Well, you clearly don't understand, the skis are actually on the player model, just hidden, there is no 'model' for the skis. And also, not all everyday roller skates can slide sideways.
