If he can't play rated M games... Well I just feel like it's necessary to state that Gmod comes with content from a rated M game, has the same engine and same guns as a rated M game, several tools that can make it even more violent, and several mods online that can turn it into a bleeding orgy.

There is an actual recent mod, it looks just like a real portal, and it doesn't simply teleport, you can push props in.
But it is buggy, and it only works for horizontal walls.

NO, THERE IS NOT A MOD FOR THAT. That was created back in the era before Gmod used the Orange Box engine. It is corrupt now, do not use it.

Yes, I downloaded the Portal Gun, and when I shot a portal, and what happens? I get the "Bad Coder" Achievement: "Experience 500 Lua programming errors."

It's a suggestion on what to do rather than buy the Gmod+Portal pack. My suggestion saves money on game's he's probably going to end up buying anyways.
