im gonna play dnd with my buds over the summer, gonna be a dwarf cleric >:o

P.S. any little known tips on being a good healer?
I'd suggest asking whether or not your DM uses the rules for spontaneously casting healing spells. If so, you never have to prepare healing spells... Ever. You can just replace a different prepared spell with a healing spell of the same level with no downside.

I personally use a slightly altered version with my group, where the healing spell is one level lower than the spell you gave up. This gives an incentive for you to actually prepare these spells.

Either way, if you're primary role is going to be as the "Heal Bot" I suggest taking the healing domain as one of your two. It'll give you a couple extra healing spells as well as causing your healing spells to be a little more potent.

I wish you the best of luck. Clerics are fun to play.

Oh, and what level is the campaign?

I cast maximized bump.

Just had another encounters game at my local hobbystore thing, i have learned the stufftiness of having a disease...

Heh heh. Lower fortitude? If you're playing 3.5, I know Paladin gets Divine Health and is immune to all diseases.

The cure for cancer: Become a paladin.

Well, if I did play I wouldn't have anybody to play with. I wish you could do it online.

Yeah...

Well the problem is if you wanted to do it online, you'd need all the participants to be online every week at the same time. That's a little hard to coordinate when you don't actually know them.

How about a local hobbystore? They often have DnD games going on.

I live far from a bunch of big stores, I think. I wonder if Borders would sell D&D stuff and have games of it :o

If you have enough money to blow on this, go buy these, and give us pictures of your epic creations.
These are the most epic D&D tiles I have ever seen. The sets themselves are something like $100 each.

I'm pretty sure they'll sell the books, though I doubt they have ongoing games. I also don't know if they sell 3.5 or just 4.0...

In case you guys haven't noticed, I play 3.5 a lot more than 4.0 though I still have the core books and knowledge for 4.0.

Double toast.

Oh, Brandon, I found out there actually was a thief class back in 2.0. It became the rogue in 3.0 though. (Same general premise)

Paladins have the sweetest irony - immunity to all loveually transmitted diseases, but if you use it, you lose it.
