Some operating systems respond differently

What's ur OP system?
Overpowered system?  It's an OS you're talking about.
Right click fallout 3 on steam, properties, verify game cache integrity.

What will the verify thing do?

Judging by the beth website, steam, and google searches, pretty much everyone has this problem. What really pisses me off is how beth does nothing to fix the problem. It makes me not want to buy New Vegas when it comes out because it will probably be stuff filled with crashes, glitches, and compatibility issues.
What a waste of $50

Should have bought it for a console.

Fallout 3 locks up for me when I enter small areas or it just does it randomly.

PS3 FTW

Fallout 3 is the most unstable game in the entire loving world. Eventually you just have to get used to it.

Lol, you must have a stuff comp.

Just saying but, Fallout 2 has one of the most badass bosses ever.

He's a Enclave supermutant in power armor. There have been reports of him punching deatchclaws in half.

computers add in to the instability too. The game itself is just so stufftily done.

If you have quad/whatever core you should limit the game to 2.
