Hi, i was just thinking while playing a game of the tron speedbike thing on omegatron advance why cant we do that on blockland?
So here is my request....
Make a cool looking bike that leaves a trail behind it. It can only turn in 90 degree angles and the trail depends on the bikes color
If possible on rtb make it so you can turn on and off damage and so people dont spam, you can set a limit of the trail left behind.
This would be awesome if anyone can do it

Please leave your comments and let me know if this is a good idea or bad/impossible and if you say its bad dont make no sence with it like...
"its terrible cause it is! NoOb!"
please.. don't be that guy...
If you dont know what it looks like search the tron motorcycle on google images
thank you

Not a bad idea. And it seems like it would be possible, but the 90 degree turns will probably be pretty difficult...and the lag on this would be a bitch. Still, not a bad concept.

yeah the lag thing is probaly going to make it hard to drive. thanks for comment though.

Oh and to add to that....
Mabey on RTB you can change amount of health or "rubber" you have so when you hit the wall you can either die imediatly or you have alot of health so you can lay loose and not have to be so acurrate.

This would be cool, but the direct turning angles shouldn't be included. Lag would be a major killer. Maybe an RTB pref where you could change it from 90 degree's to free form angles?

Wait, a freeform angle? Explain.

Works like a normal vehicle instead of set turning angles.

So are we still talking about the sudden, angular turn like the one in the game? Or is it just a regular turn? I ask because a sudden angular turn would be equally laggy no matter what angle it was (unless it was very small, of course), so why not just keep 90 degrees? And if it is a regular turn, then that kind of defeats the purpose.

That would make sence but dont let it tilt like most 2 wheeled vehicals keep it strait up so its more "classic game like"
The Rtb degree of turn thing would help.

Yeah he has a point. The whole concept of its classic 70's gaming type thing would go away

The bike itself is almost certainly possible, but the trail, being solid and eventually disappearing, I can almost guarantee is either impossible or insanely difficult.

Or it's the easiest thing in the world... I wouldn't know.

Easiest thing in the world. Lmao

Mis-quote?

Although my programming skills are limited at best, I think a temporary projectile with 0 velocity would do the trick. The problem is, could it be programmed so that it only destroys the bikes?

That would be awesome, although even awesomer if you're chasing a bike in a jeep, it turns, and you don't turn in time to follow it... And boom.

Build bricks behind you as you drive.
Lets see how that works out.

Also crashed on fast enough impacts.
