Author Topic: Weighted cube-like vehicle crashes on game start - Made in Milkshape.  (Read 1403 times)

Ok, so I am making a vehicle like the weighted cubes, and I have a collision box, col -1. I don't know what else to add. I have my vehicles LOD as 16. I spawn it, and it acts as if I don't have anything, it crashes instantly.

im pretty sure you don't need a collision box on any of them, and LOD stands for Level Of Detail.. you didn't ask for any

Well, I want my armor to be like Heeds(?) and I know what LOD means, what do you mean I "didn't" ask for any?

Look at OP.
Blender, right? Ok, make an empty. Rename it as Col0. Parent the empty to shape. Spawn a new cube, parent it to Col0. The new cube will serve as your collision box. Resize/distort it as necessary to make it outline your model. Its best to do it as a cube (unless of course its a sphere) because the more Hi-Poly a Collision box is, the more likely it is gonna cause glitches. Thats it for collision.

If that doesnt fix it, you're probably missing a Detail"x" empty. Look at Darkstar's tutorial on making addons using blender.

If you're not using blender, then I just wasted about 7-8 minutes of my life typing this lol. >_>

Either way, it needs to be Col0, not Col-1. Do you actually see any meshes in the export before a crash? Also, what is the size of the Shape file? Check your path's in the CS as well.

He is useing milkshape, not blender. In milkshape the colision's lod is -1.
