I don't like the Diablo and Diablo-esque games because for me they combine the worst traits of a 3rd person rpg and the worst traits of a multiplayer fps.

They take killing with no plotline from the mmofps, combine it with the anti-submersive and extremely monotonous fighting system used in 3rd person rpgs.

so for me it's just repeatedly clicking on monsters just for the sake of doing so.

so basically it takes the good parts of an MMO and removes the stuffty community, and in a few cases saves you on monthly fees. sounds amazing :D

Diablo was one of the greatest RPGs of all time in my opinion.

It was the first game I can remember playing, besides starcraft.

This game is a love/hate thing for me.

I love it because I'm one of those people that is compelled to finish every quest, get the best weapons, and visit every area of the game.

But I hate it because the dungeons are random.
