Ok, so I pre-ordered APB, at the time it said nothing about paying to play the damn game, sooo...

Does anybody know what the difference is between district gameplay and social gameplay?

Well I don't know either, I didn't know that there was a possibility of a part of the game that didn't involve paying monthly but lack of MMO gameplay.
I thought it was purely MMO only.

District is probably fighting and dming, social is chatting and hanging around. I guess.

Alright here it is: There are 2 parts of the city, The Social/Creation lab and the action district, in the social/creation lab you don't lose gametime and you can talk, and create   DUH

In the action district you shoot and die, you use gametime here...   with enough "Realtime Worlds Points" (RWP) you can buy gametime, you get that through payment, or from making money through your creations in the game   You can essentially play the game free if you create ALOT and are very famous within the game.

You can buy: 20 hours of gametime in the action district (Still infinite amounts in the social) or 30 days playing or not, even in the social district this gets used, at school -- yupp Just like WoW, only there will be no recurring fee... Make sense, ask me for more clarification

If you're pre-ordering games not knowing the biggest feature, you're doing something wrong.  I don't have any sympathy.

Social District Character creation and such. All you've got is a hang-out place. I don't even see that you can possibly get money to do the character creation.

Basically you just probably spent the worst $50 of your life.

Yeah, but you purchase hours, and the hours only deplete while you play, so you can save hours.
