Author Topic: VALVe E3 Conference Canceled- CONTINUE ON PAGE 4 ASDF  (Read 5974 times)

I couldn't stand to get even Half-way through Half Life.

No pun intended btw

Half Life is Valve's major game. It's the first major game they released, and it's one of the best FPSs out there. And after all these years it's much more worthy of a sequel than a simple experiment.

I'm quite tired of hearing about Half Life, really.  I'd rather hear about Portal.  Half Life is less original.  Portal 2's better from a technical standpoint too.
I don't see many other games where an odd conspiracy creates an other-world portal where a brutal force emerges and takes control of humanity while other world aliens roam around freely.

Unless HL2 Ep3 has a huge new gameplay mechanic, it's still a bit meh.  Not saying it's a bad game, but I'd much rather play a game with a more original gameplay mechanic.  (Also co-op.)

Really, it's the gameplay, the story is what makes it amazing.  I love the story.  I'd rather have longer games after longer time periods than shorter time periods for less.

Either way it's kind of been a while since Valve's even looked at the Half-Life series. There's been no updates except for the "achievements" crap which was just literally copy-pasted from the 360/PS3.

Maybe Episode 3 is being developed and no one knows about it.

My thoughts: once again, fake.

Why are you guys acting like VALVE is the only company to delay games?

Nope it's official: The whole conference has been canceled. But they would most likely still have a booth.

It's official from no websites but one.  That's not exactly normal when a company completely cancels something.  I'd imagine it to be on way more.  And from my understanding, the site emailed valve about it, then got a reply.  I'm guessing Valve would send out an email if it's canceled.

It's probably because they have to waste time trying to get it to work for magcigarettes who bought a $2000 non-gaming computer to game.

mmm portal2

what's the big deal about them going to E3? doesn't make them make the games any better or make them any faster.
