You know IRL shotguns use sights like that too? Shotgun is not always equal to inaccurate, but a spread. Not like you are going to be making any mile long shots in TF2 anyway.

M4 and M16 sometimes screw me up, but MP5s look way different.

M4's virtually are M16's, with a shorter barrel, and usually a rail system barrel guard. MP5's don't look anything like M4's or M16's, they're not even made by the same company (H&K).
