Seems like alcohol has the same effect as marijuana in that sense, except maybe the marijuana user might have more of a tendency to stay inside away from the public.

We have a family down our street that are total drunk douchbags. I was walking our dog down the street and the dad came out holding a beer bottle, threatened to shoot us if we didn't get off "his" street. I doubt he even owned a weapon, but we still backed off.
