Author Topic: TF2 ENGIE UPDATE! ITS LIVE!  (Read 110145 times)

You seem to only think it is short ranged, slugs are used for range.

Actually, if you would read what I posted, I said that shotguns are known for short-range combat. When somebody says 'shotgun' pretty much everyone thinks 'Massive spread, short-range combat'

You're acting like it's a ridiculous notion.
I go for a scoped shotgun in any game that allows it. Although the only game I've played so far that does is Crysis, and you can adjust the shotgun spread to be almost inexistant. If the regular tf2 shotgun got a scope it would be the dumbest thing ever.

That is being ignorant then, if they are not open to the possibility of using slug rounds.

People.

TF2.

Slug rounds don't matter in that twisted game world. Prbably a pump-action rifle.

The engineer is not getting a sniper rifle because the sniper already has one.

and if that dont work use mor gun

implying a rifle would totally be dead accurate

What's the point of a scope then if you have an innacurate weapon. If it has slugs, it would probably have more damage falloff at greater ranges, so it's a more close-range long range weapon.

Wow I have no idea how that makes sense.

Maybe it's not a scope.
Maybe it's a magnet or something.

Let me look at it again.

...nope.
Looks like a scope to me.

well if it's a pump-action rifle it's not going to be dead accurate for the sake of balanced therefore rendering a scope useless
it's more likely it's a shotgun so there's a considerably low chance that it IS a scope

Or it's a compact high-frequency sonic missile launcher and the scope is the laser guidance system.

That is being ignorant then, if they are not open to the possibility of using slug rounds.

No, you're just a loving moron and don't know two-stuffs about how people think.

In many movies and the majority of video games, shotguns have portrayed short-range, high-powered qualities and thus that is what people think of when they hear 'shotgun'.

The word "ignorant" is an adjective describing a person in the state of being unaware.

If they are unaware of shotguns are not just close range, they are ignorant towards shotguns.

Maybe its just a placeholder.
