Depends if you have super epic weapons and armor. If so, I'll feel like I could just sit back and you could do it by yourself.

Anyway, I did that powderstone quest with only 1 drop, no faints. I used max potions and dash juice, with chilled meat, cool drinks and immunizer. I had so many back-up plans, i was so prepared. I even set traps in area 5 to keep that monster from roaring and making me drop it.

And now i have to capture a lagiacrus. In areas 5 and 6 mostly, the smallest water areas on the map. It's difficult to evade his attacks, any tips?

Kind of. But if you do that I'll upswing you from area to area into a herd of Melynxes so that all of your stuff gets stolen.  :D

Anywho, I'mma just go make a "Playing with friends" city in Valor 1, so come find me if you want. I'll help with the capture if I can, I have capture guru skill.

Well actually, I just fixed my remote. :P Took it apart with a custom Nintendo tool. The sensor-thingy that tells the system when I'm shaking the Wii-Mote was dislodged. So it's all good now. Anyone online? I wanna hunt and get better armor/weps. I miss my Barroth Armor and Amanta Boneblade. :(

And I won't use barrels? :D


@oromis: Meh... I hate underwater fights. D: I would suggest luring it near the ground, so in case you need to escape you can just go up. Maybe it'll even follow you up, if you're lucky. :D
As for dodging, I normally stay near it's chest.

There is no straightforward "dock" in this game except for the camp on the D. Island. Man, you don't even have the game, shush.

Take a look at the resource maps on the Wiki. Fishing spots are marked with, well, fish.
