Author Topic: Is APB worth it?  (Read 1985 times)

Gay is NOT a loving synonym for stupid you idiot, and it is good, but you don't loving deserve to play it anyway because you are a moron, What the hell is wrong with gays? I have a couple gay friends, hell some of the blockland comunity is gay/bi, is that a problem?    How does loveual preference matter?

TL;DR: This guy is a loving starfish
Children/teens don't actually attribute the word "gay" to homoloveuals in that context. To them, it is synonymous. Actually, my girlfriend says "gay" like that, and her best friends are gay. It's only considered insulting to homoloveuals by heteroloveuals for whatever reason.

HOWEVER, "gay" has multiple definitions, and they are primarily used to describe something that is good, cheery, happy, fun, or funny, so they are not correct in using the word "gay", as it is actually antonymous with something negative.

Learn to not care.

Your get just as mad as sirrus for the stupidest reasons. (No offence, sirrus) It may not be a synonym for stupid to you, but it may to me. That's how I want to use it. And I can play it if I want to, even if I am not a moron, its not up to you to decide if I deserve to play it or not. Nothing is wrong with gays, just the way I say stupid. I have a gay friend too, and I know some of the blockland community is gay/bi and it is not a problem, and first of all, me calling it gay does not have to do with loveuality. I said "Epic gayness" as in stupid. Not "Epic homoloveuality"

No. Horrible game. It was a little of fun with friends, but there's still much better things to do. But the p2p drives most of your friends away, so you don't really have any friends to play with. The combat system is horrible, and so is the driving. The quests aren't very exciting either. The customization is pretty cool, although the emblem maker is a huge pain in the ass. If you're willing to put a few hours of work into it though, you can make a nice emblem. However it's never worth it. It'd be fine without the monthly payment.

This game sucks. Huge disappointment.

remeber all the hype for this game?

Didn't meet the hype. Even without it I probably wouldn't buy this game.

Good concept, bad execution.

Good concept, bad execution.

Basically the answer.

in college, im making a good execution of this

No you're not.

This game was made by Realtime Worlds, which has already made games and employs 200 people. Now, the team that made APB probably wasn't even close to that large, but it still consisted of concept artists, modelers, coders and a whole slew of other positions. To even say that you could make something similar, or, better executed as you said is pretty much saying that you could do a better job than every single person that worked on that game. Not only would it be impossible for one person to reasonably create something that was even close to that level of refinement, to say that you could take the same concept and do it better than the developer and everyone that worked on it is just ignorant.

And don't say that you have enough ambition to prove me wrong, because at the end of the day you don't and probably never will.

from what I remember from the beta they didnt have many different clothes to customize. if they didnt add more car parts or clothes then it sucks. also the matchmaking system is crap sometimes.

Im not saying alone. Im gonna get a bunch of people together, and try to make it better. Thats it. Not just me myself.

Sorry If i didn't make that clear.

A bunch is not 15.

A bunch is as much as possible.

The game play is decent at best. The creation is pretty good. I think they spent too much time on the creation aspect of the game.

While that sounds a little more reasonable, do you realize how hard its going to be to get a team together? Hell, I have a hard time getting two guitarist and a drummer along with myself together to jam. Can you imagine how hard it'd be to get 15+ people together to make a full hopefully retail but probably shareware MMO?

You have to be realistic, here.
