Why the hell would you do that?

Because I love Steam. I've got divorced parents so it just makes it easier to log into one account than carry a few disks back and fourth.

Then I can also get the expansions because my parents don't like me buying stuff off of other sites. I'd also sell my disk-version to a friend for a cheap price.

Yeah, there's only so many games it'll work with.

that only works in VALVe games. Also Borderlands doesn't have CD keys :\

They weren't thinking about pirates when they made that game.
