The question is weather the server authentications add-on downloading updates and such will be done over the http protocol on port 80 to a website, or weather he will be making a program of his own to take the role of a server.

Ok, if you have the chat open, it'll tell you to update and grab the file HTTP.
Otherwise, it'll tell you to update the same way RTB knows when it's time.

Yes, I do the graphic design and Kal does pretty much everything else. I also might help him with the forums if he needs any help, which I doubt he will.

Honestly, I don't know how you plan to totally re-write RTB without stealing everything I've written.

You can't even make your own gallery system, you had to go and find a free one and remove the copyrights and references to it.
