I must have given you the wrong impression, while I do believe that kalphiter might have the scripting skills necessarily, as I've seen some of his add-ons, weather they be intuitive or not, and it seems he can script, I mean, I've only been here two months or so and I'm making add-ons (that by seemingly popular opinion are good).

But I do believe it is a bad idea to make something like RTB. I do realize he started this out of revenge. I said it my self that he's a very thick headed person. And even if he did make a mod comparable to RTB I know people aren't going to be willing to switch over, being that the mods are exclusive of each other.

There's a big difference between scripting a train and scripting something the size of RTB. I mean, it's a noticeable difference.

It's the number of different concepts the code spans.
If Kalphiter can make that gui he showed us, even if it's not as good as RTB's, and if he can do basic networking, like any chat would require, and he can handle blockland's server/client message system, as he did in his mining mod, etc. he should have all the required knowledge to make a mod.

Weather he has the attention span to finish (or start, huehuehue) it is something I would not be able to judge.

I don't think he should be stopping at "basic" and "not as good as RTB's" when he sets his goals at rendering RTB obsolete and stealing the userbase.

Like stated before, this is going to be horrid because it's main development (If it is even going to be) is simply fueled by grudge and revenge. Ephi worked on RTB. He didn't half-ass steal everything from something else and be un-original. Why would someone want to use BC when RTB is obviously better? Kalphiter is doing the whole ''I'm going to copy yours and add more stuff to it, therefore making it better and Ephi will then suffer'' charades.

...wait, I still don't know the backstory of this whole "grudge" thing. Why is Kalph pissed at Ephi?

And this has to do with RTB how? Is Kalph just generally pissed so he hates all of Ephi's stuff? Or is there a different reason for his trying to copy RTB?

Long story short: Kalphiter made a script to spam the RTB server with requests to get a list of people's IDs and names. I found out, blocked him from RTB for a while and he has since been unbanned. This caused him so much offense that he has sworn to destroy me and his first step is to steal RTB and release it under a different name (incidentally a name I had been planning to change RTB to, and held a public vote on). People would then flock to this better add-on leaving me with no users at which point I'd leave Blockland forever out of shame (thereby ending my reign of terror on the poor townspeople of Blockland), and then possibly commit Self Delete.
