I love the game, and even the offline campaign is great :3
It'd be fun to play with some blocklanders.

I got it on steam, so I don't have to worry about that :3

I first played it at a camp a long time ago, we had enormous LAN battles. Vehicle Warfare FTW.
It's hard to decide which gamemodes are the best. Also, the graphics are pretty nice. Great game overall.

I'm not very good at it though, I only play pretty casually :<

Still though, we should try and get together some BL/UT3ers

EDIT: Look for it? I want buddies :c If not, it's only twenty bucks on steam and even less for a hard copy on some sites. Just cough up, and get yourself hours of entertainment :D

It's insanely good. It's sorta similar to quake, come to think of it :o

I dunno. KF is fun too I guess... Still, though. UT3 is my favorite FPS.

Well, I know that everyone who's played UT2k4 hates UT3. Not sure why, something about storyline? Dunno, I never played 2k4. As a standalone game, UT3 seems to me to be a great FPS. A nice selection of weapons with have multiple different alt fires, fun vehicles, and an assortment of nice gamemodes. The graphics are quite nice, and I think even offline play is relatively good.

What exactly is bad about it? :c
Or rather, what was better about UT2k4?

Aww you starfish, I have the UT2k4 CD but I lost the key. I like it much more than UT3 too. ;-;

IF you still have the CD key you can enter it into steam and get it that way.

Game looks bland to me.

How so? Great weapons and effects and powerups and stuff, tons of vehicles, lots of gamemodes... Remember, each weapon has one (and often many) alt fires. In terms of graphics, the game is anything but bland. Unlike many realistic FPS shooters, the scenery is vivid and interesting and far superior in my opinion to that of games like MW2 where everything is dark, grey, or brown. On top of that, the action is fast paced, similar to Quake, which makes games fun and action packed.

I dunno what aspect of it seems bland to you... Maybe they don't advertise well, because from the gameplay I've had so far, UT3 has been fantastic.

Please, explain, I really am curious what leads you to think it's bland, because that's the last complaint I'd expect. Too fast and quake-like, sure. Sometimes over detailed scenery to the point where it's annoying, maybe. Bad storyline, maybe. But bland... D:

UT2004 had all that stuff and moee without the whole "real is brown/grey" thing.
